We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk based in Stapylton, Gold Coast. This is a pivotal role in the Finance Team which offers excellent career development and progression opportunities. This position requires working 100% onsite and you will be trained to use our Microsoft Dynamics ERP and in-house customised systems.  

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Processing and refunding credit card transactions
  • Reconciling incoming funds and ensuring correct allocation of customer payments
  • Processing daily collections and credit claims in POS system
  • Reconciling debtors’ accounts
  • Debt collections (via phone and email)
  • Processing monthly debtor statements
  • Ensuring debtors’ profile are up to date
  • Managing trade credit insurance reporting, claims and renewals
  • Responding to and investigating customer enquiries in a timely manner
  • Managing reporting deadlines for the Accounts Receivable functions
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller and/or Proprietor on debt collection status and risks exposure
  • Supporting the Finance and Sales teams

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

  • Prior working experience in similar role (Candidates without prior working experience will be considered if you have solid double entries knowledge)
  • Excellent financial analytical skills

  • Passions in dealing with numbers and people
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgencies and respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and people skills
