Job description:

The Talent Acquisition Consultant acts as partner to business units, Managers and other Centres of Expertise by providing HR guidance and advice that supports practicable strategic human resources initiatives that link people, process and systems by balancing strategic business needs with people issues.

The Role

Situated within People and Culture, the Talent Acquisition team governs all talent sourcing, recruitment and selection activities up to the point of new employee onboarding. The overall objective of the team is to ensure the Agency’s recruitment needs are met to a high standard in an effective and efficient way.

The Talent Acquisition Consultant acts as partner to business units, Managers and other Centres of Expertise by providing HR guidance and advice that supports practicable strategic human resources initiatives that link people, process and systems by balancing strategic business needs with people issues.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible for a period of 12 months.

Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Classification: 

Salary $107,899 - $122,292 per annum + 11.5% superannuation

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.

*Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.

Eligibility

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or other related field.
  • Significant demonstrated experience as a recruitment partner in a large, diverse or complex environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing solutions focused customer service.

Under particular circumstances employees may be required to undertake a new conviction check.
