This exciting opportunity is now available for an Organisational Culture and Capability professional to lead the delivery of DoJ’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy; and broader approach to employee engagement, workplace culture, and capability building.
Examples of emerging and current priorities for this role include the need to continue driving our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion related action plans including our Disability, Gender, and LGBTIQA+ Action Plans (which support the strategy), the continued implementation of the DoJ Values, and the delivery of an inclusive and transformational DoJ Leadership Program.
Working with a small but collaborative, dedicated, and passionate team of people, this position will provide the right person with a genuine chance to deliver meaningful and impactful change within the Department, by collaborating closely with a committed senior leadership group to develop and deliver key programs.
We are looking for a team player that is highly capable in leading a small group of subject matter experts to achieve outcomes, managing projects and change, and with extensive knowledge in contemporary organisational development practices including workplace culture, capability, and diversity and inclusion.

Period of Appointment
This appointment is for a fixed-term period of 12 months.
Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Deliver the Justice Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy and action plans, including to lead associated engagement and consultation activities across internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Lead a team in the delivery of employee capability programs, including employee induction, ongoing performance development, face to face and online learning delivery, and leadership and management capability programs.
- Deliver employee engagement and culture initiatives, including to set and drive the Agency Values program.
- Manage workplace adjustments processes and provide authoritative advice to managers.
- Effectively manage, mentor, and coach other employees within the team, to deliver on the duties above while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Perform other assigned duties within the knowledge, skills and experience expected at the classification level.
