Job description:
The position is responsible for the quality of project, program and portfolio management for the Capital Investment Program. These outcomes are delivered by the individual or through a team. In achieving this, it provides leadership to the Environment and Development Approvals, Programming, Quality Assurance and Aboriginal Participation teams.

Period of Appointment
Appointment to the role is on a fixed term full time flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for 12 months
Duties
- Developing and maintaining effective and collaborative working relationships within State Growth, specifically the Project Management Office, Transport Services Group and State Roads, and apply a strong customer and commercial focus to meet sponsor’s needs, to ensure that Programming & Delivery is recognised as a trusted partner in project delivery.
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with consultants, members of the construction industry, and service providers and provide input to industry briefings, procurement processes, and administration of consultants and service providers with particular focus on process improvement.
- Developing and maintaining effective and collaborative working relationships with Australian Government agencies including co-ordinating regular meetings, submitting monthly reports and ensuring compliance with funding approval instruments and agreements.
- Oversight of submissions to the Australian Government including Project Proposal Reports, Project Cost Breakdown, Milestone Scheduling and Reporting and Cashflow forecasting.

- members of their teams.
- Own the Capital Investment Program Project Management Framework (the CIP PM Framework), and critically review and evaluate the success of project/program performance across the assigned portfolio to identify any systemic issues and to generate insight on trends, risks and opportunities common amongst projects/programs with particular focus on developing and maintaining the CIP PM Framework including:
- Consideration of the structure and accessibility,
- Improvements to existing content
- Ensuring consistent use by Project Management Team Leaders, Project Managers, and consultants.
Desirable Requirements
- Post graduate qualifications and/or extensive experience in a relevant discipline such as; Project Management, Construction Management, Financial Management or Business Administration.
