Period of Appointment
12 months.
Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Provide leadership, professional development and training to staff relating to their management of offenders on community based orders.
- Provide mentoring and guidance on case management including the facilitation of case conferencing as required.
- Undertake quality assurance and auditing activities, applying Community Corrections’ risk management frameworks, and practice standards to support enhancing service delivery and streamlining practice.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders and represent Community Corrections at a variety of local forums and committees.
- Collate and maintain delivery and outcome data for the purposes of statistical reporting and evaluation.
- Develop, support the development of and apply relevant tools and resources as required.
- Contribute to Community Corrections projects, practice and policy development.
- Develop and contribute to the development of training to enhance staff knowledge and skills to support service delivery outcomes, delivering training as required.
- Develop and contribute to the development of tools and resources for staff and managers to use to enhance service delivery outcomes, and reporting.
Desirable Requirements
- A relevant tertiary or industry qualification.
- A current driver’s license.

- Pre-employment (National Police Record) checks for: Arson and fire setting, violent crimes and crimes against the person, sex-related offences, drug and alcohol related offences, crimes involving dishonesty, deception and/or conspiracy, making false declarations, malicious damage and destruction to property, serious traffic offences, crimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and Justice, Executive or the Legislative Power.
