Job description:

The purpose of the role is to contribute to delivering a sustainable Tasmania by providing leadership and strategic direction to a diverse team that delivers programs and projects, to conserve and sustainably manage Tasmania’s wildlife and threatened species.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Period of appointment

Until 14 November 2025, or until the return of the substantive, whichever is earliest.

Desirable requirements

  • A degree in science or other relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
