Duties
Provide advice, support and assistance to schools, colleges, and Child and Family Learning Centres (CFLCs) to support relevant strategies and frameworks that contribute to improvement in the attendance, participation and educational outcomes of Aboriginal students. Support and assist in delivering culturally relevant programs and strategies to raise awareness and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, in consideration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures Australian cross-curriculum priority.
Period of Appointment
21 March 2025 to 19 June 2025
Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.

Essential Requirements
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
- The Head of the State Service has determined that this position is an Aboriginal Identified Position and that it can only be filled by Aboriginal people or Torres Strait Islanders in accordance with Employment Direction 10 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment in the Tasmanian State Service.
