Position Summary

The Biomedical Device Fabrication research group led by Dr. Chunqi Qian, PhD, jointly housed in the Departments of Radiology and Electrical Engineering, is looking for a motivated Research Associate to join their team. Working at the interface of Electrical Engineering, Neuroscience, and Biomedical Imaging, the Research Associate will design and fabricate compact, battery-less, and wireless physiological sensors for use/applications in simultaneous brain imaging and electrophysiological sensing. The Research Associate will have exciting opportunities to collaborate with both Clinical Radiologists and Research Faculty in pursuit of project goals.

Work can be arranged to be completed in a remote hybrid manner, with regular laboratory presence required.

Our team is split amongst Clinical Service, provided at the new McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital and the MSU Clinical Center, the Precision Health Program, Biomedical Imaging Researchers working in the MSU Clinical Center, the Radiology Building, and the Institute for Quantitative Health (https://iq.msu.edu/), and the Division of Human Anatomy, which operates primarily out of East Lansing with additional sites in Grand Rapids and Southeast Michigan.
