Driven by the NSW Government’s unwavering commitment to tackle the critical housing issue, we provide essential support and strategic guidance. The Planning Land Use Strategy, Housing and Infrastructure (PLUSHI) team are the driving force behind the Department's strategic planning, policy, rezoning, and infrastructure projects, all aimed at making New South Wales a better place to live.

 

The role

The Senior Manager Engagement and Concierge is responsible for overseeing a supportive and results driven team to lead initiatives that build relationships with the Department’s stakeholders to ensure NSW communities and stakeholders are engaged and informed on issues and opportunities.

 

About you

Leading a team of 4 direct reports, you will manage the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative engagement strategies to ensure stakeholders have opportunities to inform priority policies, plans and programs and lead the design and delivery of best practice engagement programs and manage stakeholder events such as forums, workshops, focus groups, surveys and briefings to obtain stakeholder feedback and support an effective engagement approach for industry and sector groups.

You will deliver all key engagement project milestones and outcomes by identifying critical stakeholder and community issues, undertake research and analysis and provide recommendations, solutions and advice to manage issues of strategic importance and inform new approaches to engagement whilst maintaining key stakeholder relationships, including engaging regularly and directly with key industry, planning, community and environmental stakeholders on departmental initiatives, policy and programs.

 

Essential requirements

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as communications, marketing, planning, economics
