About the Role
We are looking for a Supervisor Visitor Centre in the Kosciuszko National Park. The supervisor provides exceptional service to our visitors and supports a small frontline team to do the same.
You will coordinate and supervise the operations of a Visitor Centre including visitor information and education services, revenue generation from park use, retail, camping and associated fees and marketing and events management, where required.
In addition to recruiting and supervising Visitor Centre staff, volunteers and contractors, this dynamic role will use various sales and reporting systems to track visitation, revenue, safety and to share information across the branch.
About you
As a Supervisor, Visitor Centre you will come from a tourism or hospitality background with previous proven supervisory experience. Strong customer focus and communication skills are essential as well as previous experience managing financial budgets and reporting.
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and promote visitor services and an information and retail outlet.
- Relevant knowledge and the ability to inform visitors of the natural and cultural heritage values of the conservation reserves and the visitor services and facilities that are available.
- Demonstrated ability to use retail management systems to monitor and report on financial performance, stock control and security.
This role requires a Current Australian Drivers Licence and a Current Working with Children check.
