Join the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure as a Service Delivery Lead and help shape the future of digital service delivery across NSW. As a Service Delivery Lead within the Corporate Services – Digital Information Office, you will manage a dynamic pipeline of ICT work packages, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive project register, preparing costed Statements of Work, and ensuring all activities are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with departmental standards. Our support will help teams stay organised, solve problems quickly, and ensure technology is used effectively to support the department’s goals.

 

This is a role for a strategic thinker and skilled collaborator who thrives in complex environments. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external service providers to scope, plan, and execute ICT projects, while contributing to the development of service delivery standards and frameworks. Your ability to balance operational demands with long-term goals will be key to driving innovation and delivering impactful outcomes.

What you will bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent ICT projects in large, complex organisations.
  • Confidence in identifying project interdependencies and navigating competing priorities to keep everything on track.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project Online, IQ, and ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of project methodologies including Prince2, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent planning and coordination abilities.
  • Relevant industry certification or equivalent experience in ICT project management and resource scheduling.

 

What is an essential requirement:
