The role
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Senior Project Advisor to lead the delivery of our newly established finance capability programme at the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI). This brand-new role is central to improving financial outcomes and uplifting staff capability across the department.
As a trusted advisor, you’ll drive initiatives that enhance financial literacy and decision-making, delivering capability uplift through communities of practice, workshops, webinars and tailored communications. You will also play a key role in reviewing and analysing financial processes, systems and data to uncover opportunities for improvement and innovation. This is a dynamic opportunity to shape a new programme and make a meaningful impact on financial excellence in the public sector.

What you will bring to the role

What is an essential requirement:
- Tertiary qualifications in a financial, accounting, business or technology discipline or equivalent professional experience.
