The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure is seeking a visionary Manager Platform Solutions to lead the strategic evolution of our digital platforms. This 12-month opportunity offers the chance to shape the future of public services through innovative technology and collaborative leadership.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the strategic direction of platform solutions aligned with departmental priorities.
  • Lead technical consulting and ensure architectural integrity across solution delivery.
  • Champion DevOps maturity and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders to deliver scalable, sustainable digital outcomes.
  • Provide expert oversight and support for critical applications and services.

 

Strategic Capabilities We Value

We’re looking for a leader who brings:

  • Deep expertise in system design and development across technologies.
  • Proven experience in Salesforce platforms and DevOps tools including Bitbucket, ANT, GearSet, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
  • The ability to translate business needs into technical strategy and scalable solutions.
  • A track record of delivering high-impact outcomes in complex environments.

Essential requirements

  • Demonstrated extensive knowledge and proven functional skills in low code technologies such as Salesforce and Pega
  • Demonstrated capabilities in team management including staff management and mentoring, performance management and financial management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project delivery and service management practices
