Join DCCEEW—a leader in climate action, environmental protection, and sustainable water management—as a Senior IT PMO Analyst, where your expertise will help drive strategic alignment, governance, and delivery excellence across a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives.

 

As a Senior IT PMO Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and embedding project management frameworks, supporting project leaders, and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes. You’ll provide expert advice, champion best practices, and help build capability across the organisation.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with project managers to support cost-effective delivery and governance
  • Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Provide tailored reporting based on reporting needs
  • Ensure projects follow established governance frameworks and standards.
  • Support risk, issue, and change management processes.
  • Monitor resource allocation and utilisation.
  • Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes and tools.
  • Support training and onboarding of project staff on PMO practices.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project management and PMO support within complex environments, with a solid understanding of methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Agile. They will be proficient in using project management tools including MS Project and SharePoint, and possess excellent analytical, planning, and stakeholder engagement skills. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience will further support their ability to deliver high-quality outcomes across diverse IT initiatives.
