  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $129,464 - $142,665 + 12% super

 

The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Vendor Performance and Financial Management Specialist to oversee vendor relationships, drive service excellence, and ensure financial accountability across our IT operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the financial management of IT vendor engagements, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and value for money.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of vendor contracts—from selection and negotiation to renewal or transition.
  • Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and contract terms to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert advice on vendor governance, procurement, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to align services with evolving business needs.

 

About You

You’re a detail-oriented professional with deep expertise in procurement and contract management, backed by experience in financial analysis, cost control, and reporting. You bring a collaborative approach, influencing stakeholders and vendors effectively, and are committed to delivering high-quality, cost-efficient IT services.
