The Ministerial Services Branch (MSB) at the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated Ministerial Liaison Officer.
This pivotal role involves managing and coordinating a continuous flow of high-quality and timely briefing materials for the Minister’s office. The successful candidate will excel in prioritising and allocating requests, managing workloads, and exercising sound judgment, while ensuring effective communication between MSB and various business areas across DCCEEW.
About You
As a Ministerial Liaison Officer, you thrive in a high-volume environment with competing demands and tight deadlines. Your strong organisational skills are crucial to your success. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to apply astute judgment and strong research and analytical skills when providing advice on potentially sensitive issues.
Building and maintaining excellent relationships and working collaboratively with teams and colleagues across DCCEEW, as well as other stakeholders across the NSW Government, is essential for delivering the expected results. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and positive individual to join a dedicated and high-performing team.
