  • Temporary opportunity (until Dec 2027) - with possibility of extension/conversion to ongoing
  • Full-time (35 hours per week) - flexible working available
  • Office location Parramatta, hybrid working supported
  • Clerk Grade 7/8 - Salary ranges from $113,574 - $ 125,720 + super

 

Our Energy Infrastructure Division is currently seeking to appoint a Team Leader, Land Acquisitions to oversee the day-to-day operations of the land acquisition assessment function to ensure efficient, accurate and timely processing of applications.

The role provides leadership and direction to the team, fostering high standards of customer service, implementing quality assurance measures, and driving continuous improvements to processes and systems. The team manages land acquisition matters for energy projects, including Renewable Energy Zones, HumeLink and gas pipelines. In this role you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding training and supporting staff, including contractors during peak periods, to build capability and deliver consistent outcomes across the division.

 

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring experience in leading an assessment team. You will also be someone who can operate flexibly in a high workload environment where multiple competing deadlines occur, so you will be fluent in prioritising and managing workloads across the team.

Your demonstrated experience in land tenure matters will be highly beneficial to being successful in this role, as will your ability and willingness to learn and test existing positions and approaches.
