The Senior Security Compliance Analyst is a pivotal role within our Cyber Security Governance, Risk & Compliance team. You’ll lead the department’s cyber security compliance and assurance program, ensuring we meet mandatory requirements under the NSW Cyber Security Policy (CSP), ACSC Essential 8, ISO 27001, and other applicable frameworks, through robust governance, structured evidence management, and high-quality reporting.
This role also navigates the ongoing challenge of strengthening security awareness across the organisation while keeping up with evolving frameworks, legislation and best practices. The role requires providing clear guidance on compliance processes, analysing data to spot trends or gaps, and working collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve the department’s overall security posture.
What you will bring to the role

Working knowledge of the NSW Government compliance requirements and other security frameworks and standards such as Australian Signal Directorate (ASD), the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework, and ISO/IEC 27001.
