The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the management in supporting various finance matters in Financial Management Department covers the functions of planning, budgeting, KPI, reporting and analytics, and support various finance projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform analytics and high-quality management reports with critical review and interpretation of results on a regular basis
• Provide suggestions to improve quality of the reports to senior management and Group
• Responsible for annual budgeting, MD&A for Insurance in BOCHK/BOC interim and annual reports, peer analysis, regular forecasting process and KPI monitoring
• Participate other jobs or projects assigned by supervisors
• Ad-hoc assignments when required

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• At least 7 years’ experience in financial or management reporting under life insurance with knowledge in HKFRS 9 and investment accounting
• Knowledge in HKFRS 9 and HKFRS 17 is preferred or working experience in auditing / advisory for life insurance experience will be considered
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and with an innovative and creative mindset
• Adaptable to changes with flexible with positive working attitude
• Detail-minded, self-initiative and able to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Good report writing skills in Chinese
