Job responsibilities:
- Assist to manage the alternative investment portfolio, which includes private equities funds, private debt funds, funds of funds, co-investments opportunities, etc.
- Assist the team to complete investment process, capital deployment and post-investment monitoring , including but not limited to (i) conduct market and fund research, including investment analysis, fund peer analysis, manager selection and macro-economic analysis, etc., within the alternative investment world; (ii) assist to evaluate fund performance, such as financial reporting quality, reasons for NAV change, valuation and financial analysis, etc; (iii) prepare investment memo and presentation slides and relevant work for seeking Investment committee approval purpose; (iv) assist to conduct post-investment monitoring with consultant and internal stakeholders, including risk management, compliance control and financial reporting matters
- Assist to review legal documents in relation to alternative investments and communicate with relevant stakeholders
- Assist to calculate/verify fund performance and portfolio returns
- Responsible for engaging external consultant (for investment) and conduct KYC due diligence, review capital call notice and trade record booking, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other relevant disciplines
- CFA / CAIA preferred
- At least 4 years of experience in buy-side alternative investments or relevant experience
- Analytically minded and attention to detail
- Good presentation skills and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with other team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
