Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will assist to formulate and update FCC related policies and procedures, perform transaction monitoring and case review, provide support to FCC related project/matters, including but not limited to:
- Conducting enhanced due diligence on high risk customer on-boarding/application requests, including identification and assessment of any financial crime risks, reputation risks and the plausibility and corroboration of source of wealth
- Conducting transaction monitoring/ investigation and facilitating STR filing.
- Conducting FCC processes quality check or assurance review
- Liaising confidently with the front office teams and colleagues in business lines to coordinate the assessment thus to provide a final decision recommendation to management
- Communicating decisions to business and frontline on whether the relationships can be retained or terminated amid change of risk level in structural and detailed manner
- Investigating potential fraud and bribery/ corruption case and conduct health check in pro-active manner
- Establishing, implementing, reviewing and monitoring the internal infrastructure of financial crime compliance to meet regulatory requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Law, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in Financial Crime Compliance
- Experience in dealing with regulators, comprehensive understanding of Hong Kong AML/CFT regulatory framework, working experience in Insurance sector is preferred
- Professional qualifications of ACAMS/AAMLP/CAMLP/CFE will be a plus
- A good team player & be able to work proactively & independently
- Excellent communication, analytical and writing skills
- Proficient in spoken & written English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
- Candidate with more relevant experience will be considered as Senior Manager – Financial Crime Compliance
