Manager, Investment Strategist

Job Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the implementation of investment strategy and asset allocation strategy

  • Analyze new products and provide guidance and advice for new product approval process to different departments.
  • Prepare presentation and due diligence reports for approval.
  • Conducting fund manager research, fund selection and related due diligence process
  • Evaluate fund manager's performance and ongoing portfolio review
  • Monitor portfolios versus benchmarks, peers and risk limits for different asset classes
  • Work closely with portfolio managers to ensure mandates are implemented as designed and fulfilling risk and business requirements
  • Maintain and update on all investment related policies & guidelines and communicate to the fund managers.  
  • Coordinate the Investment Committee meetings and minutes taking.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc projects to support the team

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in life insurance or asset management company
  • Strong foundation in fixed income, equities and other structured products.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and respond quickly
  • A team player in a fast changing and non-repetitive environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese
