Reporting directly to the Department Head, as Claims Manager you would oversee the complete claims lifecycle, from initial assessment to settlement. This role is empowered to make claims decisions that impact our clients' lives while developing your expertise in risk management and insurance operations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and develop a small team in providing life claims services in a professional and effective manner
  • Manage complex claims investigations and settlements within delegated authority limits
  • Review policy coverage and assess claim validity according to terms and conditions
  • Drive various initiatives in alignment with Company's strategic development for excellent customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder with professional insurance qualification (e.g. FLMI or ICA).
  • 8 years of relevant working experience in life claims (at least 4 years at supervisory level)
  • Strong sense of time management to comply with service benchmark
  • Good Knowledge of medical aspects
  • Good communication skill with customer-centric mindset
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Able to work under high pressure with professional business acumen
  • Well-adapted to fast paced working environment with passionate working attitude
  • Highly adaptable to changes and unprecedented challenges
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication abilities in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin)
