Senior Operations Transformation Manager

Job Responsibilities:

 

The incumbent will report to Head of Operations Transformation for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation journey, involving in tasks including but not limited to:

  • Leveraging innovative solutions in insurance business operations, including the application of AI, Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI (Gen AI) and other emerging technologies to transform our business operations on underwiring, policy administration, claims and customer services.
  • Identify pain points in business processes and to propose solutions to improve productivity and bring a brand new customer experience.
  • Participate in the development of AI expert systems, liaise with vendors and encourage the fast adoption of AI power to enhance work efficiency and service offering.
  • Lead and develop a sizeable squad of change professional for process discovery, mapping and implementation governance on AI application in enterprise level.
  • Translate AI and digital transformation strategies into target operation models and actionable roadmaps, aligning external and internal stakeholders and quantifiable KPIs to measure business success on cost, service and risk containment.

Job Requirements:

 

  • Degree holder with major in Information System, Data Science, AI, Computing and Transformation (ACT), Insurance or relevant disciplines.
  • 10 years or above working experience in the Life Business Operations with Transformation / Projects or related fields, preferably familiar with AI/ML, Gen AI, and other upcoming technology usage, with at least 5 years of team/people management experience.
  • Strategic thinking that can build the blueprint for our business operations to be future-proof.
  • Strong change advocate for improvement and service excellence, keep pace with industry trend and provide out-of-the box business solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with track record to gain project success in insurance operations.
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills, able to influence senior executives, align diversified functions and present complex change narratives clearly in business tone.
  • Leadership skill to drive the transformation squad by setting direction, expanding capability and cultivate the can-do attitude.
  • Familiar with AI and Gen AI tooling and methodology and able to apply into business environment.
  • Proficient in spoken & written English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
