Senior Digital Strategy and Transformation Manager (Digital Design)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end design strategy, planning, and execution for digital transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to deliver solutions under Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Develop and maintain wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems to ensure design consistency and scalability across digital channels
  • Promote user-centered design practices, including user research, journey mapping, usability validation, and design testing, to enhance overall usability and customer satisfaction
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a strong design culture and embedding best practices across the team
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into effective design strategies and user experience solutions

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital design and user experience, preferably within the banking, insurance, or digital consulting sectors
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale design initiatives within major financial institutions or consulting firms, managing cross-functional teams
  • Experience in client-facing engagements, with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into strategic design recommendations
  • Strong exposure to regional or cross-border collaboration, particularly within the Asian markets
  • Previously held senior design leadership roles such as Design Director, Design Manager, or VP-level position, demonstrating both strategic vision and team management capability
  • Proficient in UX/UI design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Miro
  • Experienced in design system development, interactive prototyping, and compliance with accessibility standards
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with proven ability to collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and QA teams throughout the delivery process
  • Client advisory capability – able to engage with stakeholders from a business perspective, understand industry trends, and provide strategic design and business recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex business requirements into effective design solutions
  • Well-versed in user research methodologies, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and data analysis to inform design decisions
  • Good communication and writing skills in Chinese and English, fluent in English and Putonghua
