Business Strategy Manager (Omni Channel Management)

Responsibilities:

  • Align with the bank’s business and channel strategy and reference best market practice to formulate short-, medium- and long-term omni-channel strategy and optimization plans
  • As a change agent to drive Digital Transformation, Omni-Channel Strategy and Fintech Application
  • Collect and organize channel-related data and generate channel performance reports to support decision-making. Work closely with other departments to ensure data requirements are accurately communicated
  • Analyze and monitor channel performance based on channel efficiency, customer behavioral or other data and provide channel optimization recommendations based on data analytics
  • Execute project and management tasks, develop detailed project plans, monitor project progress, manage project stakeholders, ensure effective and high-quality implementation of new/optimized services, and conduct post-evaluation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop standard operating procedures with appropriate control measures to support omnichannel and fintech application optimization initiatives.
  • Keep abreast on latest technology / market best practices, conduct in-depth market research and proactively explore business opportunities and areas of improvements, and formulate omni-channel strategy based on customer needs and the latest fintech applications
  • Supervise and manage team members to deliver desired outcomes as a team for managerial role

Requirements:

  • Degree or above with major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related disciplines
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience in banking industry, at least 1 years' experience at managerial role is preferable
  • Experience in data analytics, channel management, customer journey design and /or digital transformation is preferable
  • Be a good team player and self-motivated, with strong analytical mindset
  • Be able to work independently and withstand pressure
  • Good command of Chinese and English writing and communication skills
  • Possesses a certain level of understanding of market knowledge and trends regarding regulatory requirements, industry practices, and risk management concepts, principles, and control structures.
  • Be sensitive to data and able to extract key insights from large datasets as well as generate analysis reports
  • Proficient in both spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Familiar with basic computer applications and proficient in data analysis tools e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Deputy Business Strategy Manager
