Responsibilities:

Trading

• Developing and implementing trading strategies to generate profits
• Executing trades/responding to price quotations that take advantage of market trends
• Monitoring the performance/life cycle of trades and adjusting strategies as necessary
• Collaborating with other members of the trading team to share knowledge and insights
• Managing risk by respecting internal risk matrix and using hedging strategies when appropriate

Securities Finance

• Handle Day to day collateral movement and quotations
• Staying up-to-date on industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Build relationship with clients and traders to stay on top of latest market development and trade structures

Product Development

• Handle Day to day collateral movement and quotations
• Identifying market trends and areas of demand for new financial products
• Conducting research and analysis to determine the feasibility and potential profitability of new products
• Collaborating with other members of the trading team, as well as with clients and external partners, to develop product specifications and pricing strategies
• Working with legal and compliance teams to ensure that new products meet regulatory requirements
• Working with project and IT team to help Launching new products, and provide solutions proposal to various stakeholders within the bank

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Math, Finance, Econometrics, Physics, or other relevant disciplines
• 3-5 years of working experience in trading / securities finance or related fields
• Knowledge of financial products such as derivatives and experience in a banking environment is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attentive to details and passionate about performance
• Good communication skills, fluent in English and written Chinese
• Willing to take up initiatives, possess can-do spirit to bring about changes in process
