As a Technical Services Projects Trainee, you will provide administrative and project management support to the Project Leader Europe, Middle East & Africa. You will be organised and proactive, willing to go the extra mile. You will have a passion for the technical and development side of the hotel business.

The Technical Services Project Trainee will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Support the Project Leader EMEA in all German speaking pre-opening projects.
  • Organise internal and external meetings, ensuring effective inter-departmental communication.
  • Work on ad hoc projects as requested by the Project Leader, EMEA and create presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Translate pre-opening related documents from German to English as well as participate and translate simultaneously conference calls/meetings from German to English.
  • Ensure follow ups and keep relevant persons informed of developments related to projects, as requested by the Project Leader, EMEA.
  • Timely preparation of expense reports.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy and attention to details in all matters pertaining pre-opening projects.

What you will need to have?

  • At least 2 working experiences, ideally within hospitality and with administrative or project management background. Understanding of design and architecture is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in German and English (German is a must for this role).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ideally MS-Project, AutoCAD.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage several projects at the same time.
  • Organised with high level of professionalism, reliable and courteous. Be enthusiastic and have initiative.
