  • Primary location at Morwell, however opportunity to work across various sites in Gippsland

The Role: 

If you're passionate about Community Development, group-based parenting and family support, professional sector training, leading innovative projects and multidisciplinary teams, then this is the role for you! 

As Team Leader of ParentZone, you'll be part of a dynamic, innovative, evidence informed and development focused program, well established within the Gippsland area for over 20 years.

Utilising key co-design, trauma informed and strengths-based approaches to respond to parenting, family and community needs, you and your team will work flexibly with a diverse range of stakeholders and funding partners to deliver high quality, research-based programs.

Our client and sector feedback shows consistent outcomes such as strong program retention, increased parental confidence, enhanced parent and child relationships and child development, all of which leads to improved family functioning and positive outcomes for children.  If this excites you, then come and be an integral leader within our ParentZone team!

The skills you will need day to day:

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience and leadership qualities with the capacity to motivate and lead a staff team.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the statutory service system including risk assessment and child safety frameworks.
  • Well developed organisational skills
  • Program development and review/evaluation experience.
  • Sound knowledge of group work practice and experience in delivering group work.
