Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY: Drafts, reviews, analyzes, negotiates, and processes contracts and related documents for marketing and sales teams in accordance with the Contracts Policies and Procedures and all applicable Universal Orlando Systems. Works in conjunction with UDX Marketing and Sales Departments.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews, edits, and/or drafts scopes of work for marketing technology and creative services, productions, talent releases and agreements, and compiles and routes contract documents for internal and external approvals and execution. Prepares appropriate contract form, including all addenda items, and assists with negotiation of Standard Terms in a form consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Reviews, edits, and/or drafts contracts, addenda, cancellations, re-bookings, and terminations for Resort and Event Sales, and proposes business solutions in a form consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepares and maintains guidance documents and provides training to project teams as needed. Ensures compliance with contractual obligations and that company policies and procedures/internal controls are followed in all transactions related to this role.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years in drafting, analyzing, amending, and negotiating detailed contracts and scopes of work required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Construction-related, technical, and/or entertainment contract experience highly desired.
