Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY: Serve as an Analyst of the Talent and Performance Management System (SumTotal) including areas such as Goal Setting, Professional and Hourly Performance Evaluations, Talent Reviews (Succession Planning), Development Plans, and employee profile data. Responsible for operational support of system on behalf of its user population. Responsible for coordination of vendor development and support of SumTotal reports. Consults with clients to provide service on systems and processes.

This position is based in Orlando, Florida and may require travel to other NBCUniversal parks and properties on occasion.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, test, and maintain performance and development processes in SumTotal. Examples include building batch jobs, launching processes, batch routing users, and un/freezing data interface. Maintain security roles and access.
  • Provide end user support & troubleshoot system and/or data issues. Partner with SumTotal Support (vendor) through the Designated Support Contact (DSC) portal for resolution of system issues bugs.
  • Execute projects for implementing new functionality and/or enhancements to existing functionality; requirements analysis and documentation, testing and deployment change management.
  • Responsible for performing in-depth functional & regression testing of SumTotal platform in support of upgrades and patches. Partner with business users to aid in creation and execution of test scripts.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources personnel in support of talent and performance processes and system usage.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree is desired, or commensurate work experience, in one or more of the following fields: Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Organizational Psychology, and/or Computer Science.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years prior experience supporting a HR Performance Management System or Learning Management System (LMS); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Must have a client services approach to work.
  • Experience supporting an enterprise-wide system with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in conducting analysis of business processes and recommending improvements or efficiencies.
  • Self-starter and able to work on own initiative based on direction from peers and leadership.
  • Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing test cases
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work required hours outside of typical business hours which could include nights and weekends as necessary to meet project deadlines and emergency on-call operational support needs
