JOB SUMMARY: Manage maintenance personnel, activities, and budgets in multiple assigned areas of responsibility, including all labor and non-labor resources to maintain superior show quality and customer satisfaction. Support initiatives to continuously improve guest and employee safety.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages all aspects of the facilities maintenance program within multiple assigned areas of responsibility, including planned, quick call, discretionary, and emergency repair work, as well as comprehensive asset life-cycle management. Develops and refines maintenance standards and maintains all OSHA and Universal Quality Standard.
- Manage staff by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, performance management, and recognition
- Plans, prepares, and manages assigned capital and expense budgets
- Secure reliable and cost-effective contracted services via scope development, competitive bidding, and contract oversight
- Establish and maintain relationships across departments to ensure highest standards of guest experience, show quality, and operational readiness
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent or technical school required.
- Bachelor’s degree in management or technical discipline preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 9+ years’ experience of construction, operation, and maintenance management of a large (500+ acres) Theme Park.
- 9+ years of extensive experience in maintenance management of a Theme Park or other relevant experience is required with 9+ years of direct supervisory responsibilities
- ;or equivalent combination of education.
