JOB SUMMARY: Serves as the primary point of support of the daily administration of the Team Member lifecycle, post hire. Performs transactions and provides to support related to the job and movement of Team Members.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives, reviews and submits requests from area of support to create, change, delimit organization attributes (org units, business segments, etc.) Ensures all requests align with system requirements and contain the appropriate attributes associated with the organization element. Ensures data is processed timely and accurately to minimize delay and negative impact to Team Member and supporting departments.
  • Receives, reviews and submits requests from area of support to create, change, terminate Team Members jobs. Ensures job attributions associated to roles are accurately assigned and associated with the Team Member in accordance to policy and system requirements. Ensures data is processed timely and accurately to minimize delay and negative impact to Team Member and supporting departments.
  • Reviews and approves termination transactions submitted by leaders. Ensures all termination checklists are completed and security is terminated timely. Supports Team Member requests and transactions associated with leave of absences as required.
  • Gathers, organizes, maintains confidentiality and scans documents to Team Member personnel files. Supports requests for Team Member data. 
  • Performs other responsibilities that are specific to the division/client supported as needed.
  • Supports other requests such as special pay requests that must be routed to Payroll for processing. Ensures requests for remote employment are properly routed through all organizational approvals, identified in the position appropriately and documented as applicable.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

  • Strong communication skills; at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Independent, self-starter, requiring minimal day to day task supervision.
  • Professional presence and demeanor.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy; maintain and build strong relationships and be flexible.
  • COMPLEXITY OF WORK: Semi-routine; majority of work covered by established procedures; detailed understanding of work unit.
  • RELATIONSHIPS OUTSIDE WORK UNIT: Exchange of information which occasionally requires tact and/or diplomacy.

  • ON-THE-JOB TRAINING: Forty hours training required: Human Resources Processes: PPA/Records, Reviews, Training, HR Contacts. 

SCOPE: Serves as the primary point of support of the daily administration of the Team Member lifecycle, post hire. Performs transactions and provides to support related to the job and movement of Team Members.  

EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required. Associate’s degree (AA) in Human Resources or related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 1-3 Years: Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
