JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing exemplary service and assistance to Guests while rotating through various positions including greeting Guests, answering Guest questions, completing sales transactions, monitoring reservation system, verifying appropriate ticket type, redeeming tickets, selling merchandise, and operating the venue safely and efficiently.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enthusiastically greet and welcome Guests as they enter each area of the venue. Responsible for obtaining Guests information for ticket sales and following proper cash handling procedures during sales transactions. Maintain accurate check-in logs and contact Guests as necessary. Communicate reservation and merchandise inventory concerns.
  • Understands valid ticket media and how to correctly process each ticket, whether on ticket stock, paper, or mobile device. Scan and verify admission tickets, and their ownership, upon Guest entry into the Escape Adventures. Properly identify fraudulent tickets and notifies proper personnel.
  • Follow all established opening and closing procedures of the venue. Ensure the proper use of safety practices and procedures, ensure appropriate Guest venue flow, load Escape Adventures at appropriate time intervals, observe attraction monitors to assist Guests through the experience, and safely address Guest concerns and evacuate Escape Adventures in accordance to operating procedures.
  • Resolve and ease sensitive Guest situations on an individual basis through personal interaction. Ask exploratory questions to identify concerns, needs, and expectations. Determine and provide appropriate course of Guest recovery. Communicate issues regarding Park Technology, tickets, attraction operation, and other departmental concerns appropriately.
  • Maintains a clean work environment. Constantly monitors immediate area and surroundings for trash and debris and assists in its removal as needed.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required.


EXPERIENCE: 0-1 Year: Operations experience preferred. Six months to one year guest service and/or front counter experience preferred but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
