JOB SUMMARY:
Work collaboratively with stakeholders in Finance, Digital, and Parks Technology functions to track, prioritize, and plan projects through completion in line with business strategy. Finance projects will include those related to process improvement and new system implementations. The Project Manager – Finance will develop detailed projects plans, including timelines, milestones and resources and provide updates to leadership team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Finance, Digital, and Parks Technology teams to develop, track, analyze and publish project status reports and project performance trends to share with leadership while ensuring best practices are implemented.
- Assists in the development of project plans and provides support throughout the life cycle of multiple financial project initiatives, including process improvement projects and new system implementations.
- Leads Project Meetings for Finance and tracks project action items to support successful completion of multiple projects.
- Effectively communicate and build rapport with all team members, stakeholders, and business partners using a variety of techniques from project initiation to completion.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Project Management Professional certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of project management experience, including 2+ years of accounting experience and 3+ years supervisory experience required.
- Experience with managing cross-functional teams strongly desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
