Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

  • Social Media Strategy Development – Working with Head of UDX Social Media, develop content strategy for UDX social channels that drives measurable business performance through impressions, engagements, and engagement rate. Operates as social media lead strategist leading all integrated social media planning for campaigns and segment initiatives.
  • Content Creation & Management - Creates new and creative ways to use social platforms and digital content to share business priorities, build our audiences, and develop disruptive social content across social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
  • Editorial Calendar Strategy & Management - Responsible for all social content planning, programming, publishing, tagging, and editorial calendar management. Integrate annual business priorities into overall social marketing messaging.
  • Internal Management - Manage social media direct reports and serve as a leader on the UDX NA Global Social Media Team. Support training and enablement of social media engagement best practices and devote time to ongoing education of social media capabilities.
  • Partner Management - Work to operationalize and implement enterprise-wide social media capabilities and collaborations. Collaborate with key stakeholders and influence integration of social executions with online and offline programs from planning to execution.
  • Benchmarking & Metrics - Responsible for creating and implementing industry leading social publishing best practices with engagement benchmarks for all social channels. Analyze and track campaign performance, making real-time recommendations and help solidify and operationalize global KPIs and dashboards with GMAT team.
  • Social Activations - Identify and create opportunities for social activations, develop strategic plans, and manage executions and optimization of social media campaigns for UDX properties
  • Agency Management - Manage performance and set expectations for internal and external agency focused on social media calendar planning and content creation
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, English, or Communication is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience working in social media, digital media, or digital communications experience in an agency or corporate setting, including at least 2+ years of immersive social media experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven experience managing successful high-profile projects that involve multiple business functions, milestone tracking, and collaborations.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, iWork, Photoshop, Canva, Sprinklr
