JOB SUMMARY
Assists facilitation of comprehensive technical oversight of project teams to ensure the timely delivery of their objectives, verifying adherence to internal protocols and requirements. Assumes accountability for facilitating the review, consolidation, and delivery of documentation pertaining to Ride & Show Systems, encompassing Audio, Special Effects, Projection, Lighting, Set/Scenic Design, Props, Show Action Equipment, Animated Figures, Ride Mechanical Systems, Ride Control, and Show Control Systems. Diligently evaluates compliance with pertinent industry standards, codes, regulations, and internal Universal standards via auditing processes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive deliverable audits proficiently and with attention to detail.
- Collaborates with Tech Coordinators and RIs to ensure deliverable collection.
- Responsible for assisting facilitation of ensuring transition of deliverables from project team to Operations and overseeing project closeout activities.
- Works with partner coordinators to ensure process is happening. Will respond to resolve minor issues.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Exhibits outstanding collaboration skills, adeptly engaging with project teams and effectively communicating project status to leadership in a systematic manner. Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with individuals at all levels. Comfortably influences decisions while maintaining goodwill and fostering positive interactions. Microsoft Office suite, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, SharePoint experience preferred.
A successful candidate would be able to perform the following to include but not be limited to:
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to organize and manage a series of tasks and vendor(s) to develop and implement show and ride systems.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in applicable technical field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
0-1 years’ experience in theme park specific technical/engineering role(s) preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
