JOB SUMMARY
Facilitates comprehensive technical oversight of project teams to ensure the timely delivery of their objectives, verifying adherence to internal protocols and requirements. Assumes accountability for facilitating the review, consolidation, and delivery of documentation pertaining to Ride & Show Systems, encompassing Audio, Special Effects, Projection, Lighting, Set/Scenic Design, Props, Show Action Equipment, Animated Figures, Ride Mechanical Systems, Ride Control, and Show Control Systems. Diligently evaluates compliance with pertinent industry standards, codes, regulations, and internal Universal standards via auditing processes.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Helps drives the strategic direction for a project, ensuring prompt and successful completion of deliverable compliance. Perform daily checks on outstanding project tasks keep the team updated with completed milestones.
- Identify, monitor, and communicate to management task performance risks, issues, problems, and participate in the development and implementation of mitigations or provide hands-on assistance as needed.
- Field questions from team members and stakeholders and provide the necessary support to remove roadblocks and keep projects moving forward.
- Design and execution of acceptance testing strategies.
- Generate system level documentation and manuals.
- Maintain configuration management of hardware and software documentation.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
A successful candidate would be able to perform the following to include but not be limited to:
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to organize and manage a series of tasks and vendor(s) to develop and implement show and ride systems.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in applicable technical field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
2+ years of experience in software development. 2+ years’ experience with scripting languages, deployment orchestration, and version control.
