Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

This position is a key executive leader on the Global Partnerships team, and is responsible for Brand Business Development, Domestic Outer US promotions and New Ventures promotions. Specifically, this Team Member will work day-to-day with both external and internal partners, while also working closely with the team Vice President. This position will also have leadership responsibilities as they will manage their own team and lead the overall team in the absence of the Vice President.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pitch and secure major Brand promotions as part of their Business Development responsibilities for UO, USH, and UDX. Track trending patterns and industry knowledge of external partners to form meaningful promotions for UO, USH and UDX
  • Pitch, secure, and oversee Domestic UO Promotional opportunities.
  • Pitch, secure, and oversee promotions for New Ventures/Texas, as well as other regions under development
  • Represent the Global Promotions team with key internal partners, partnering with creative, legal, fulfillment, brand, events, production, etc. to ensure the effectiveness and success of all Promotions
  • Lead and manage the Global Promotions team with the Vice President is traveling
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years in securing or developing marketing/promotional programs within the media, consumer products, packaged goods, telecom, entertainment and/or tourism industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully integrating promotional campaigns with various business.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
