Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Develop and lead the sales and operational activities of Destination Universal. Model Universal Destinations and Experiences values to develop, inspire and motivate team to provide the highest quality in service and sales execution. Responsible for achieving financial (EBITDA) goals as well as attendance (SIP) goals. Position requires dynamic internal and external collaboration.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leverage leadership skills to develop and motivate assigned direct reports to exceed guest service expectations, achieve prescribed attendance and financial goals and improve team member satisfaction
  • Optimize internal partners and resources (Marketing, HR, L&D, Legal, Finance, Operations, etc.) to enhance and improve service and sales delivery
  • Analyze and summarize available data and provide insights and suggestions for improvement
  • Communicates with external partners, clients and teams for support, tools and services.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Communications, Sales or Marketing required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 Years sales or operations experience in the hospitality industry required and 4-6 Years management experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
