JOB SUMMARY:
Provide support and administration of UDX Compensation programs. Collaborate with HR to provide support compensation policies, programs, reporting, and compensation recommendations. Conduct job analysis and job evaluation to maintain and update company-wide job descriptions. Provide analysis on multiple facets of compensation including reporting, analysis, communication, and training.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides guidance to senior management and HR Business Partner teams on position analysis and compensation processes including and job evaluation, compression analysis, Hourly Merit processing, sales incentive programs, external market reviews to ensure consistent leveling and market competitiveness and adherence to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in various compensation-related projects which involve modeling and analysis, revision, development, planning, and processing of compensation changes such as market adjustment, tipped increases, salary structure updates, and job catalog changes.
- Matches jobs to salary survey positions. Compiles data for participation in salary surveys. Completes analysis of survey results and measures UDX salary structure compared to survey data. Performs analysis and makes recommendations for structure/grade changes.
- Works in conjunction with Payroll, UKG, and HR Operations teams to maximize the usage of the HRIS system as it relates to Compensation. Generates reports from HRIS/Excel for UDX in decision-making. Ensures accuracy of information.
- Ensures compliance with all wage and hour laws and applicable regulations, by staying up to date with changes and making timely decisions to maintain adherence to these legal requirements.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years’ experience working in a Human Resources environment with direct compensation analysis required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from WorldatWork (formerly the American Compensation Association) preferred.
