JOB SUMMARY:
The Risk Management Administrator provides essential administrative and organizational support to the Risk Management team. This role involves maintaining accurate records, assisting with insurance and claims processes, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in administrative tasks, with strong communication and multitasking skills.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides administrative support to the Risk Management team to include coordinating and scheduling meetings, inspections, and events with internal and external partners, arranging for gate access, ensuring proper technology is set up in conference rooms, maintaining and organizing department files and records, and supporting data entry and running reports.
- Reviews, tracks, and maintains Certificates of Insurance for third parties and reviews, issues, and maintains Certificates of Insurance when third parties request evidence of insurance from Universal.
- Supports the renewal of insurance policies by gathering and communicating exposure data to Comcast Risk Management and our insurance brokers.
- Reviews requests for new bonds and submits annual bond renewals from obligers and forwards invoices to appropriate contacts.
- Assists with drafting and updating Risk Management policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Associate degree in business administration, Legal Studies, or related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience providing administrative support preferably in a Risk Management/Insurance or Legal environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- High degree of organizational and multi-tasking skills is essential.
- Must have experience with prioritizing tasks on a daily basis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Familiar with Risk Management and Legal terminology is preferable with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
