JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for review of all surveillance cameras property wide and for tracking and reporting outages / quality issues. Responsible for programming radios for all departments property-wide and maintains the radio rental program.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize surveillance software to review all cameras on property for outages as well as issues that would affect video quality. Tracks issues and coordinates with technical services so repairs can be made.
  • Utilizes radio software to program Motorola portable radios for all departments.
  • Maintains surveillance standard site for all cameras. Works with departmental liaison to review and approve camera position standards.
  • Maintains the radio rental inventory and coordinates with individual departments to meet rental radio needs for Special Events.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SCOPE:

Routine computer work, including use spreadsheet to track issues and assets. Verbal and written communication with other departments and divisional management.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years experience in security is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able detailed orientated and be able to use Microsoft Office suite.
