Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Maintains all shift records, reports and passes. Responsible for assuring that all security officers are properly trained in all aspects of each designated field position. Ensures all officers maintain standards set by company and take corrective actions as needed.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures the safety of UO’s guests and Team Members. Oversees guest and Team Member screening, as well as, protects company assets from theft and other criminal activities.
  • Reviews Incident Reports, as well as, ensures reports are thorough and concise for possible future litigation. Makes proper notifications to upper Management. Reviews Blotter entries.
  • Performs daily administrative duties that include, but are not limited to: Performance Counselings, Performance Evaluations, and Kronos duties (Scheduling, Time and Attendance Monitoring).
  • Responsible for Team Member training. Ensures the company standards and policies are maintained with staff and enforced within the workplace as it relates to security matters.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years in knowledge of policies and procedures for the park and knowledge of Security required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A background check is mandatory and results must meet Universal Orlando’s background check criteria.
