Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY: Combine deep knowledge of segment performance, market dynamics, and marketing activities with empirical evidence, insights and learnings to enable Segment Leadership and Executive leadership to make better and faster decisions to increase total FL/AP sales, attendance, room nights and revenue for Universal Orlando.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enable the FL/AP team to increase data-driven decision making, using reports and analysis to identify and foresee segment-level challenges, break down challenges into analytics objectives, and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Conduct analysis of competitive, market performance, and trends relevant to destination strategies, products and services in order to identify strategic opportunities for growth. Proactively analyze and synthesize segment data, performance, forecasting and budgets into business recommendations.
  • Support trimester planning through development and monitoring of segment learning plan.
  • Function as key liaison between the FL/AP Pod and the Analytics Center of Excellence, prioritize and fulfill analytics requests
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: MBA or post-graduate degree preferred. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business or related field of study

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of marketing or advertising experience preferably in the travel, entertainment or tourism industry
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency working with data, analyzing information and report findings.
  • In-depth understanding of consumer and brand research.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Cross-functional experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex and highly collaborative environment.
  • Must be energetic self-motivated, a quick learner and demonstrate a strong personal desire to achieve results.
  • Extremely detail oriented and resourceful, ability to work independently.
