JOB SUMMARY:

Provide financial support to the Live & Location Based Entertainment and New Ventures business including revenue and cost tracking, monitoring licensee billings and collections, monthly forecasting, financial reporting and general financial support.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review contracts and document key financial metrics and dates to ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition as well as forecasting for distribution to management, assist with development of annual operating plan, pacing and LE submission data.
  • Manage cost including compensation & benefits, admin including T&E/consulting fees, talent participations, merchandise royalties and commissions.
  • Execute month-end financial close processes including posting various journal entries, updating financial reports for actuals, documenting variance explanations and preparing balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Monitor licensee billings and collections to maintain an acceptable aging of receivables.
  • Develop and maintain SOP documentation of financial processes.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders throughout the business in order to effectively complete assigned tasks. 
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of relevant Finance/Accounting experience required;
  • 3+ years supervisory experience preferred.
  • ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
