JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Global Projects and Office Operations, Corporate Communications is an experienced professional who will be an essential part of the team that shapes and implements UDX’s overall corporate communications strategy by managing all of the business aspects of the office including such activities as the creation and maintenance of the quarterly/annual global activity calendar, weekly look ahead project snapshot, daily management of cross-department strategic initiatives and project process improvements, quarterly team meeting presentations and oversight of key executive communications activities. Works with the SVP as the business partner on all ongoing operations, administration activities, and specific project initiatives. Attends Senior Leadership Team meetings, coordinates global Comms calls and events, publishes agendas, and distributes meeting notes, leveraging new tools and technologies. Responsible for the administration and reporting of project requirements and tracking of office budgets. Works as a strategic partner to SVP facilitating collaboration across various global comms teams and with other non-Communications departments and partners.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works as a strategic partner to SVP facilitating collaboration across various global comms teams and with other non-Communications departments and partners. Serves as the point on annual Communications offsite, facilitating agenda, speaker content, and meeting logistics. Attends Senior Leadership Team meetings, coordinates global Comms calls and events, publishes agendas, and distributes meeting notes.
  • Collaborates closely with SVP and leadership teams to align organizational strategies, goals, and priorities. Provides insight, analysis, and recommendations for ongoing planning and integration that enables more effective delivery of strategic initiatives, including tracking of activity via global calendars, leveraging project management tools, and identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Responsible for the administration, reporting, and tracking of office budgets, maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation. Manages resources, outside vendor contracts and overall traffic of workstreams. Evaluate vendors and communications toolsets and make recommendations on effectiveness and ROI.
  • Accountable for the management of all project plans, requirements, status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations. Oversees project management system and implementation of quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards and expectations
  • Helps implement strategies to achieve function and office goals in support of larger company goals and events. Supports communications planning for key global activities for the function itself or in support of the business from conception to completion, liaising between different divisional teams. Creates PowerPoint presentations in support of showcasing office impact and/or in support of key global programs.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of Finance or Business experience with 3+ years of management experience required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
