Universal Horror Unleashed is a terrifyingly unique experience that will bring haunts to Las Vegas year-round. Located at Area 15 is the heart of horror – we would love to have you haunting alongside us! With the nature of this experience comes a unique working environment. You will find yourself working in dark environments around special effects including strobe lights, fog, artificial smells, and more. The working hours will be unique, typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for delivering best in class guest experience by serving beverages to guests. Must have a passion for hospitality, providing attentive and friendly service while greeting guests with intention. Manages beverage and bottle service orders while delivering VIP service to designated guests. Collaborates with Bartenders for orders and accurately handles financial transactions. Informs guests of menu offerings and specials with full knowledge of UHU menu. Utilizes suggestive selling to promote specials, cocktails, and different beverage options.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that guest receive prompt, friendly and personalize service. Suggestively sells cocktail beverage items and food by possessing knowledge of menu items and ingredients. Ensures that orders are taken and placed accurately, checks on tables, and replenish drinks. Leads VIP service for guests in partnership with leadership to follow all Universal standards and procedures.
• Ensures adherence to the Nevada State Liquor Statutes and food safety handling state requirements.
• Maintains positive guest satisfaction by answering questions, accommodating special requests, appropriately handles to complaints to the guests’ satisfaction and/or solicits assistances from leadership team as necessary.
• Operates POS accurately and rings all items at time of purchase. Follows all established standard operating procedures.
• Pre-buses tables, maintains area, organize and clean service stands and complete side work.

• Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business demands.
• Requires poise under pressure, a polished demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a guest facing role.
• Experience with VIP guests is a plus.

 CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 

• Possession of a Health card, Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card, and any other required certifications or licenses.

 EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum of 2 years serving in an upscale dining and nightlife venue; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
