JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a motivated intern to join the Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) Quality Engineering team. The intern will support testing/quality engineering activities for UDX where they get to experience and work on most thrilling and technologically advanced technology implementations on Mobile, Web, Point of Sale, Photo Validation technology etc.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assists in developing and executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, writing, and maintaining test scripts in Java and Python.
• Collaborates with the development team to resolve defects.
• Works closely with product and engineering teams to develop automation frameworks, test design, and execute automated scripts.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophomore or above.
• Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required. 
• A transcript is required upon application.

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Preferred majors include: Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or similar.
• Understanding of Web/Mobile, Data structures, API, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium/Java, API testing tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or ReadyAPI, or similar.

• This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices.
• Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2026.
• Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
• All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.
