JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing preventative maintenance of commercial, noncommercial restaurant, laundry, and refrigeration related equipment. Removing or installation of new equipment. Perform cleaning duties and routine preventative maintenance of equipment on a regular basis.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment to include, but not limited ovens, steamers, shake & ice cream machines, coolers, freezers.
  • Preventative maintenance on commercial appliance units to include, but not limited to: washer, dryers chargrill, fryers, and flat tops.
  • Preventative maintenance on self-contained, air- and water-cooled refrigeration units to include condenser and evaporator cleaning of ice machines.
  • Completes all assigned documentation and labor reporting.
  • Assist and Supports Equipment Technician, Tech I Industrial, Tech I and Tech II on service calls.
  • Performs light replacement of parts to include but not limited to dormant hoses, regulators, pilot assembly, restraints, and belts
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • High school degree or GED is required.
  • Technical school is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, Commercial Kitchen equipment, Automotive maintenance or a fast-paced technical service company dedicated to refrigeration, restaurant equipment, commercial appliances, laundry equipment and or maintenance is required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Valid Florida Drivers License/ required to operate company vehicles.
  • Universal refrigerant certification is preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Responsible for cleaning and preventive maintenance of equipment. Will support and assist with repairing and installing restaurant equipment.
